Ibera Greek Tortoise (Testudo graeca ibera)
This tortoise is also known as the Mediterranean spur-thighed tortoise, so named because they occur all around the Mediterranean region and have small spurs on the backs of their thighs. This is the hardy "ibera" subspecies from the Eastern Mediterranean region, including Syria and Turkey. The hatchlings will develop a wide variety of shell patterning, with wonderful colors ranging from buff or tan to a warm chocolate brown.
Ibera Greek tortoise hatchlings are $100 each. I don’t discount for wholesalers or jobbers.
